After being anchored on land for years, Des Moines’s riverboat finally makes its way back home to the river. Nearly thirteen years ago the Spirit of Des Moines was all but destroyed after being vandalized and untied from its dock. This riverboat has been on a trip back ever since!
With many years and countless hours, the riverboat is again river-ready and is renamed after an old friend as the “Jon Anderson White” riverboat. It is owned by Historic Sternwheeler LLC, 1701 South Union St., Des Moines, Iowa 50315. 515-883-2628.
We will be offering a full schedule of public and private charters. Please take a moment to sign-up to receive upcoming announcements, and more information about us.
